Who are we?

The University of Oklahoma's Student Chapter ACM is proud to present Hacklahoma, its first inaugural hackathon! Students from all backgrounds, majors, and experience levels will come together to collaborate on projects that include mobile applications, virtual reality, and digital assistants in 24 hours. Anyone with an interest in technology comes to learn, build, and share their creations!

Why is this happening?

Hacklahoma was created to kindle creativity and innovation with the mission to improve Oklahoma’s tech community. We want to make Oklahoma one of the largest places for innovation and technology and to inspire students achieve the impossible.

When? Where?

For our first hackathon, we are expecting 250 passionate students from all over the world to come together at Devon Energy Hall at the University of Oklahoma in Norman on March 3rd and 4th, 2018!

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends one to learn, build & share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. - MLH
